After years of visits to Paul’s Fusion Kitchen on Kennedy Boulevard, we’ve worked our way through so much of the menu that picking a favorite has become nearly impossible. What keeps bringing us back is the consistency. This is a focused kitchen where dishes arrive fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavor, backed by attentive, genuinely welcoming service. The menu has deep Thai roots but isn’t afraid to wander a little — from Pad Thai, drunken noodles and Red Curry Duck to crab fried rice, sweet potato-crusted salmon and even French onion soup. There always seems to be something new to try, yet the quality never seems to waver. It’s an intimate little spot that feels personal rather than corporate — exactly the kind of locally owned restaurant we love discovering and returning to. TBFT Tip: Go with friends, order different dishes and share. It’s the best way to explore this menu — although you may still leave arguing over which dish was the favorite. Absolutely amazing all around, genuinely one of the best restaurants not just in Tampa but that I’ve ever tried! The staff is phenomenal, very accommodating and attentative. It’s owned by the sweetest, hardest working woman who puts such care into all the food and caring for each patron. Every time we come we order a new dish, and it’s all been beyond expectations— super high quality, delicious, and fresh! I cannot recommend this place enough!!! The ambience is also incredible too, super clean and very modern.

Chic ambience and delicious food. We ordered the spring rolls, duck curry and crab cakes. The duck curry was nicely rich and flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The service was quick and the waiter was very attentive and frequent with water refills.

We decided to try Paul’s Fusion kitchen because we love spicy and flavorful Asian dishes and they have a 4.9 rating! First, it’s very difficult to park. Once we parked we found our way to the small restaurant. It is nicely decorated, simple and modern. The service is great. I was a little disappointed in the food. We tried ghee curry chicken wrap which was described by the server as spicy, yet it wasn’t at all. The pad Thai had very little flavor but was presented beautifully. Overall, it wouldn’t be on the list of Asian places to return to.

A hidden gem! Paul’s Fusion Kitchen is absolutely perfect. The food is not only amazing but also fresh. The service is the best I have ever experienced. The waitress constantly checked to ensure we did not need anything and that we enjoyed the food. The general manager also asked, and I saw him overseeing other waitresses' service. They have a see-through kitchen, and everything seems clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere is refreshing and relaxing, complemented by the soft background music. We did not have reservations, but luckily, two open spots were available. I recommend making a reservation during peak times, as this restaurant has limited seating. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am surprised not to see more reviews of this fantastic restaurant.
